So I just came up with a pretty kickass idea for storyline for the film I’ve been wanting to make… I’m pretty excited.

It’s halfway through the year.
I can’t decide whether to say I miss summer, or can’t wait for it.
Yeah, sorry, but this post is going to be long.
On a less cheerful note, today was pretty awful. Well, it actually started out yesterday… no Wednesday. When the cast list got posted. Mind that I didn’t actually waste any true worry over the fact that my name was not on it. Rather that over 90% of the cast list was out of whack according to what I, as well as the majority of others, thought was going to be listed on it. I eventually...
So I meant to post yesterday how proud I was of myself for practicing my instruments all week. And I never did, and still am very glad, so I figured I still should add that in today. Yesterday I practiced sax, oboe, and counting rhythms and such for percussion. Yeppers! And the day before I practiced sax, and on Monday I practiced oboe! That makes my total practicing hours for the week about four!...
So I’m interested to see how today goes…
Not necessarily looking forward to it though.
I just had a really good oboe lesson. I played two solos that I really like and it made me excited to actually be playing. And my teacher was impressed at how well I sightread them! He was like ‘you must play piano or something because you read those rhythms really well!”
I was like heck yes! haha
SAT today.
So last night I had another funky dream.
It kind of started with me living in some dude’s apartment where he had rented out four of the rooms. And later we forgot the name of the place and he wouldn’t let us in.
Then Erin and I were in the band room looking at a list posted on the wall and we looked on it to see the name of the apartment (it was like ‘pro’ something). I...
I had bad dreams last night. Then woke up this morning feeling unrested.
All I remember from my dreams is that it was all about my being terribly unsuccessful with everything I do. Like I thought I had done something well, and then it turned out that it was just complete crap.
So I had a dream last night that I was trying to speak German. I think I was with Frau Kennedy and Kelsey… then all of a sudden I was in my mom’s bedroom and the lamp was on fire and it spread to the bed and pillows. At first I didn’t think it was actually on fire— just a reflection in a window behind the bed (even though in reality there is no window there). Then I suppose...
I wonder if it will ever happen.
So I have just determined that I want to have film editing/production as a career. Like really, I love it. And I’m good at it. My AP Gov commercials kick ass. Seriously.
My dad and I just ate at Pho Tango. Delicious-ness. Especially on a rainy day. If you’ve never been there, I suggest going… especially on a day like today.

I’m feeling very cynical today. That’s probably not a good thing.
I feel like there’s something I need to say on here… or just in general. But I’m really at a loss. So I guess I will leave it at that. And continue to have that unsettling forgetfulness about me.

So last night I stayed up until like 2 working on a commercial thing for AP Gov. And I must say, it’s pretty awesome.
It’s about war and how many people have died and been hurt, and how few things we’ve accomplished… because our party platform includes taking troops out of Iraq by 2012 (and out of Afghanistan by 2018)…
So yeah. It has really cool music too.

I get really competitive. Anyway, I’m making some really cool buttons and I get to make commercials. Super excited for that.

What I do instead of homework...
I’m painting a pair of my jeans. So far they look really cool. I’m using silver puff paint and doing the designs that I do on like basically everything else.
So today I’m home alone. (yay) And I basically just have to do homework the whole day. Because I didn’t do any before yesterday. So I guess I better get busy.
So I’m starting my diet today. Hopefully it will work. And I won’t be stupid and give up.
